MASTER OF ENGINEERING (MEng) PARTNERSHIP
The MEng is a practice-oriented degree that requires 30 credits of course work, including three credits of Applied Mathematics and three credits of Engineering Management. Up to six hours of credit is available for a practice-oriented project, and a final examination is required. Courses are offered by online distance learning.
The Arizona State University Master of Engineering (MEng) Partnership is designed to provide the opportunity for students to obtain a master's degree in engineering through distance learning online.
The MEng is a practice-oriented degree that requires 30 credits of course work, including:

| Practice-oriented project (XXX593) | 0-6 credits |
One half of all coursework, excluding the practice-oriented project, must be in engineering. A culminating event is required and will be identified by the student’s advisory committee. It could be a final examination or the final report for a practice-oriented project (Applied Project XXX593). Additional requirements may exist for some academic units.

In the MEng partnership, multiple emphasis areas are being developed and within each area are specific course requirements in addition to the general program requirements. Students can select:

Advisory Committee
Students define the courses of study with an advisory committee that consists of up to three faculty members and potentially one or more practicing professionals. The cahir of the advisory committee will track academic progress and provide student advice.
Master of Engineering Admissions Committee (MEAC)
Area of study program coordinators are members of the admissions committee.
Admission and Application Form
Minimum admission requirements include a bachelor’s degree with a background for the desired field of study, a minimum GPA of 3.0 for the last 60 units of the undergraduate transcript, and GRE scores may be required. In addition, graduates of non-U.S. institutions will have to satisfy admission requirements established by the ASU Graduate College .
